Vision of Resurrection

Sometimes it seems you're all alone.  And nothing in life can ease the pain when you've been hurt.  Or give you the strength to even move on.  Though the ones you love, make you realize you must continue to live.  For their sake, you can't give up and you can not loose.

One night long ago.   I nearly cried myself asleep. With thoughts of death and little hope left.   Hurt from disappointment, rejection and grief. I found myself walking on an uncertain street. In the midst of darkness and fog with a shadow of light. In the depth of my darkest night.  Moving on a flat surface, the length of a tree. No life form was near.  And I was free from fear. I noticed nothing above and nothing beneath.  So thought to my self. "I must go on" As I continued to walk. I felt a presence.  I wasn't alone.  Still free from fear. I continued to move on. I came close to what seem to be an old gray cave. I looked in once and saw nothing within.  Though peace of mind had finally sunk in.  At once I felt an unction to look in again. Than said to myself. "That's strange, am I missing something?" I saw nothing and thought.  What was that all for?  At that point I really didn't care anymore. Than again I was prompted  to look in.  And saw there was  nothing to comprehend.  In frustration I turned. And the image was near. Saying " Go ahead, why don't you look in again." I thought to myself free from wonder or fear. " Why am I here and what do I care?" So I looked in again and saw nothing within. But the image so near seem to be more clear. He said " I'm not in there. I'm here. Right here.   I've been here all the time. Holding your hand and making you mine."
I said "My Lord I must of been blind.  Though now I see; the magnificent sight of his Majesty. How Jesus died; for you and I. He was crucified. The tombstone was moved. The Master rose the third day before noon.  The king of kings was not in the place, where his garment lay. The price had been paid. The captives set free. Our sins are forgiven because the Savior has risen. So receive ye the blessings of his resurrection.

And the angel answered and said unto the women.  Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus which was crucified.  He is not here; for he is risen, as he said.  Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goeth before you into Gal-i-lee; there shall ye see him; lo, I have told you.  Matthew 28: 5-7

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  Isaiah 52: 5
